Kyiv Statistical Day 2013

This event is devoted to the International Year of Statistics (Statistics 2013).

The main objective of Kyiv Statistical Day 2013 is to promote the importance of statistics to the scientific community, business and government data users, the media, policymakers, employers, students, and millions of people.

It is planned to invite teachers, researchers, graduate students and undergraduate students from universities, practitioners from Institute for Demography and Social Studies of the Ukrainian National Academy of Science, Scientific and Technical Complex for Statistical Research of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, Radiation Protection Institute of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine, Ukrainian State Forest Resources Agency, and anyone interested in Statistics.

Subjects to be discussed: the interplay between Statistical Science and Society in Ukraine as a whole; modernization of education in the area of statistics in accordance with needs of research institutions, statistical agencies and other relating enterprises, establishing the Ukrainian Statistical Society, etc.
