🌍 Partners

Linnæus University (Sweden)

The Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Mathematics Department at LNU have built up significant competence in Machine Learning, data-intensive studies (DISA), and the analysis of complex systems

Role in LCAM: LNU serves as coordinating institution, ensures risk-managed delivery, organises mobility and reporting, and leads the design of search algorithms and pattern-recognition software by drawing on its experience as PI of the German Epidemic MicroSimulation framework.

Institutional scale: sixth-largest Swedish university, two campuses (Växjö & Kalmar), ~44 000 students and 2 100 staff, with a Grants Office that routinely leads Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects.

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK), Ukraine

TSNUK is globally recognized as a leading institution for higher education and research across various disciplines. It stands as a multidisciplinary educational and scientific hub, centrally located in Kyiv yet with a strong national presence. The Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics is one of the leading units at TSNUK. Its scientists have wide international recognition, with world-famous scientific schools of algebra, differential equations, probability theory and mechanics. A separate mention should be made of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law, where highly professional practising lawyers share their knowledge and experience.

Prior expertise: TSNUK recently ran the research project “Innovative technologies for processing court decisions using machine-learning algorithms,” producing a hardware-software complex for pre-processing judgment texts and a structured database for basic predictions.

Role in LCAM: leads methodology for automatic data collection, develops user-friendly labelling interface, adapts neural networks for predicting litigation indicators, and drives taxonomy design and large-scale case labelling. TSNUK leads the methodology for automatic data collection, builds the labelling interface, adapts neural networks for predicting litigation indicators, and provides deep expertise in civil procedure and ADR through Professors Izarova and Prytyka.

Together, LNU brings cutting-edge data-science coordination capacity, while TSNUK contributes deep mathematical and legal expertise plus on-the-ground data-engineering experience—a complementary partnership positioned to deliver LCAM’s AI-powered analytics for judicial reform.
