Gratitude to Professor Josef Teichmann for the lecture “Path dependent modelling in Finance and Machine Learning”

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Professor Josef Teichmann (ETH Zurich) for his extremely interesting and insightful lecture “Path Dependent Modeling in Finance and Machine Learning”, which took place on August 4 at the Red Building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

It was especially pleasant to host Professor Teichmann in Ukraine at this difficult time. Vice-Rector for Research Hanna Tolstanova and Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Oksana Bezushchak expressed their sincere gratitude for the visit and his lecture, emphasizing the importance of international scientific exchange for the development of the Ukrainian academic community. Despite 3 consecutive air raid alerts in Kyiv in the morning, a full audience of listeners gathered, joined by more than 50 more online.
